Anita Klein
Anita Klein studied at Chelsea and the Slade Schools of Art. She is a Fellow and past President of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers and has work in many private and public collections in Europe, the USA and Australia, including the Arts Council of Great Britain. She is also a trustee of Paintings-in-Hospitals, to whom she has contributed many of her works. "During the 1980s, Anita Klein began drawing in a diaristic way depicting everyday life activities. As a printmaker for many years, she created and developed an expressive graphic manner. Her favoured printmaking styles are drypoint etching and woodcut which she skilfully exploits to create an informal immediacy that perfectly suits the intimacy of the imagery." Mel Gooding, 2006.
